Hindu marriage ceremony is famous world over for their great pomp and show. It is signify customs, rituals and elaborate celebrations and is full of fun and frolic. Marriage ceremony is given prime importance in India. Marriage is the most major event of everybody’s life whose memories are cherished forever. Indian marriage speaks volumes of the rich culture, heritage and ethnicity of the country. Every region follows its own traditions customs and rituals for the wedding.

It is arranged on a grand basis which includes inviting lots of people, friends and relatives. There are so many ceremonies to be held. Many different types of preparations are need to be done and much more. It is not only establishing the bond between two people, but also the bond between two families. Hindu weddings are usually hosted by the bride's parents and take place at a common place, decided by both the bride and groom's family. Generally, the marriage ceremonies take place at an open space, under a decorated canopy called mandap.

Talking about the varied customs and rituals followed, Hindu weddings extend up to four to five days. The ceremonies practiced are essentially divided into three parts - pre wedding customs, wedding day ceremony and post wedding rituals. One of the things given very high importance in Indian wedding is wedding dress. For bride its importance is the highest.

To look good is high on the agenda of brides on wedding and wedding dress is their greatest tool. Auspiciously also weddings dress is highly regarded. Brides start looking for wedding dress in months advance. They opt either from the sari, lehnga choli or salwar suit. These also come in variety of styles, colors and designs thus options are plenty. Brides are more concerned about dress than groom because more focus is on bride and bridal dress only. Brides need to choose the best wedding dress to look the best.
